Are painful past experiences still affecting you today?
Sometimes we recognise the link between past hurts and our current thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
More often, we are unaware of the extent to which past ‘imprints’ are negatively affecting us. Sometimes we tell ourselves “we’re over it” or that other people go through worse”.
Either way, insight alone isn’t enough. We need more than awareness to be free from the unwanted influences of past pain.
Solution focused therapy
You deserve to live a happier, more fulfilling life. With the right support that is possible.
Our mindset shapes our whole experience of life. So many problems arise from stress, anxiety, trauma, unhelpful thinking styles and maladaptive behaviours.
We all find different ways of coping and not all of those ways are helpful in the long run. Our problems can “show” in different ways: negative thinking, eating or weight issues, relationship difficulties, lack of confidence, fears and phobias, sleep problems and habits or addictions to name a few.
These “things” can become so entrenched we end up believing it’s “just something we have to live with”. But it’s not.
Every day I am so privleged to witness positive change in my clients’ lives. I want this for you.
In our work together the focus is on solutions to your problems.
Don’t let anxiety, uncertainty, fear or lack of confidence hold you back any longer. Don’t settle for ‘ok’ by telling yourself “it’s not THAT bad”.
With the right support you can (quite literally) change your mind and live the life you want and deserve.
I am passionate about supporting people to harness and utilise the mind-body connection for optimal health.
I have a specialism in working with fertility issues but also have experience of working with insomnia, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome, vaginitis, amenorrhea, endometriosis, skin conditions such as ezcema and psoriasis and inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
There is an ever growing body of clinical research and evidence demonstrating the efficacy of mind-body medicine.
For example: Harvard Medical School found that 55% of women (who were having difficulty conceiving) had a baby following treatment to overcome negative thought patterns and separate truth from fear – compared to 20% who received no treatment.
I hope you contact me to explore how a mind-body approach may benefit you.
